Office team

Kathy: I joined Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital as practice manager in April of 2014. I'm excited to be part of such a dedicated and caring team of individuals who love their jobs and the pets they care for. I studied Business Communications and Accounting at Oakland Community College. My background includes 13 years of retail management and customer service. For the last 9 years I've worked in the dental field with the last 5 spent in office management. I enjoy spending time with my Husband, 4 sons, and golden retriever mix Lacey. I volunteer for a Military ministry through my church and my husband’s handy man ministry. My hobbies include crafting, gardening, interior decorating, and enjoying the outdoors.

Sharon: I have been involved in the veterinary field since 1987. I have been a part of the Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital family since 1991 and thoroughly enjoy working with animals. I have been married since 1979 and currently have six dogs; two Afghan hounds and four Cairn Terriers. I enjoy training and exhibiting my dogs in conformation and agility and love nature and camping.

Dori: I joined the Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital team in October 2011. What brings me here are the animals that I adore and the wonderful team I work with. When I’m not here I’m home with my husband Jay and my daughter Kaylee. They keep me very busy along with our five dogs Harley (the boxer), Casey, Chloe and Charley (our Yorkshire Terriers) and our big guy Nikko (bullmastiff). In my spare time I love to shop, camp and vacation.

Joanna: I started working as a receptionist at Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital in August 2013. I'm very happy and honored to be a part of such an amazing and knowledgeable team of animal lovers and caretakers. I've loved and grown up with animals all my life and consider them family members. I currently have a spayed female cat, "Starla" and male neutered German Shepherd/Husky mix named "King." I like to refer to them as "my children." The Shepherd Mix in my photo is "Wolfie." Sadly, he passed away from cancer in Feb 2014. I miss him dearly. My other joys in life include spending time with family and friends, reading, learning more, drawing, horseback riding, cooking and baking. Overall, I understand and cherish the bond we humans develop with our animal companions and truly enjoy being able to work with both people and animals!

Miranda: I shared my childhood with lots of dogs and a cat here and there in our Richmond home. I started working at Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital in December of 2013. I have loved getting to know my fellow team members, as well as our clients are their pets. My favorite part of my job is socializing new puppies. In the future I plan on attending Macomb Community College to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. At home, my fiancé and I have three dogs; Dexter is a Plott Hound mix, Frank is a Beagle/ Spaniel mix, Gino is a Wire Fox Terrier, our domestic shorthair cat Meegan and our betta fish named Harold. I love my animals, they make life very entertaining. In my free time I enjoy remodeling homes, spending time with my family, and exercising with my pups. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and has helped me learn so much. I look forward to furthering my education and learning as much as I can at a job that I love!

Erica: I joined the Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital as a receptionist in March of 2015. I’ve been coming to Warren Woods with all my own pets since I was a child. I absolutely adore all types of animals and have a strong passion for helping them. I’m currently a student at Macomb Community College and am undecided what want to study. I have two dogs; Opie and Nero who are American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shephard mixes, two cats; a tortie named Kitkat and a calico named Ninja. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, singing and coaching my little cousin’s soccer team!

Adrien: I grew up here in Warren with my parents and three older sisters. We had a childhood cat named Gooy who lived to be 22 years old. Gooy was my first pet and best friend. I got my first dog named Sparkle in fourth grade. She’s a toy poodle who had my other two dogs, Tuxedo and Twinkle, the following year. My family now takes care of my sister’s adorable poodle mix named Pepper Ann (pictured) who was a stray found in a Walmart parking lot. Animals have and will always fill a special place in my heart as God’s beautiful creation He loves. Job 12:10 says, “In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” I joined the WWVH team in September of 2015. I decided to apply as an animal assistant because I’ve always had a love for animals and a passion to care for them.I’m honored to help care for his creation and to work with others who look after these animals! Next year I hope to go to college for teaching English as a second language and evangelism. Though I’m not going into veterinary medicine, I enjoy learning new things from our intelligent staff. So far I’ve had a wonderful experience here and I look forward to being part of this team even more.
