Dr Julie Cappel

Dr. Cappel served on the executive board of the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and was their president in 2015. Dr. Cappel also has served on the executive board of the Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and was their president in 2006. She has a special interest in Avian Medicine and has been a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians since 1991. She is very proud of her two adult children who are successfully earning their college degrees and excelling in their musical pursuits. She shares her home with her husband (Scott), one dog (Trent), two cats (Peter and Colby) and a Quaker Parrot (Kimi) who has become a hospital mascot since her children left home.

Dr Terry Hagewood

She earned her bachelors of Science in Biology and Biochemistry at Purdue University.

She has been doing relief work for Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital since 2001. She has a special interest in pocket pets, soft tissue surgery and acupunture. She has been an active member of Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association since 1990. She loves sports, camping and hiking. Her husband is also a veterinarian and they have been married since 1987. Their family also includes two daughters and two dogs.

Dr Laura Van de Grift

She has special interests in diagnostic imaging, surgery, and internal medicine, and a passion for client education. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association. During her free time, Dr. Van de Grift enjoys reading mystery novels, biking, and playing video games with her husband. Her family includes Prudence, a Rottweiler mix, and Wilhelmina, a feisty Calico cat.

Dr Jayme Cicchelli

Dr. Cicchelli has a special interest in exotic companion pets, ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and the human-animal bond. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, and served as Vice President of the National Veterinary Business Management Association during veterinary school. In her free time Dr. Cicchelli enjoys music (singing, playing clarinet, musicals, and dancing), and spending time outdoors. She shares her Detroit home with her fiancé, a laid back cat, and two mischievous rabbits.
