Do I need an appointment for my pet?

Yes, patients are seen by appointment. Call 586-751-3350 to schedule an appointment for your pet.

Does Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital treat exotic pets?

Yes, we see birds, reptiles and small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, chinchillas, degus, gerbils, hamsters, rats and mice.

Do I need to check my pet’s fecal sample yearly?

Intestinal parasites such as Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms, Giardia and Coccidia can cause digestive upsets and related problems. Infections with these parasites are detected by a microscopic examination of your pet’s stool. Once diagnosed intestinal parasites can be treated with oral medications.

How do I refill my pet’s prescriptions?

For prescription refills, please phone the office before you run out, so we may check with the doctor for authorization and have your pet’s medications ordered and ready for you to pick up.
